Costumed role-playing and independent exercises are used to illustrate the negative affects of stereotyping in selling. Extensive time management and goal setting skills are taught and reinforced throughout the power-packed program.
FAIR HOUSING AND YOU
6 HOURS
This is not the boring fair housing experience you may have sat through in the past. This is an in depth study and education of the laws and history of American’s rights to buy, sell, rent, finance and possess housing. Based on the time allotted, costumed role-playing can be added to enhance and reinforce the learning experience. The lesson starts pre-1865 and covers all the protected and some unprotected classes. Our philosophy is a simple one – let the paperwork, not people determine qualified status.

Getting to Know Your Asset Financially

Based on the level of expertise or budget control your managers have, this hands on workshop will teach, reinforce and otherwise enhance their financial management capacity. In the ever-changing environment of housing there is always a steady stream of new managers taking over multi-million dollar assets. Often times we place managers without them understanding the basics of how to run a business. In two educational packed sessions they will be taught the basics of real estate economics like why the rent must be collected timely, to how to create a budget and reforecast it constantly. This is a very in-depth; hands on workshop with each person using laptops loaded with working excel spreadsheets. Actual property documents are used to illustrate budget line items, rent rolls, charge adjust journals, write-offs, general ledgers, delinquency recaps and more. The program uses lease-up and operating budgets for start-up and rehab properties. This is the level of training owners and investors want to see from their management company.
